Jacinto Conill was formed in his native city, specializing in the landscape, and always painted from the natural, outdoors. In the forties he began to hold personal exhibitions at the Sala Busquets in Barcelona, and in 1955 he also presented himself individually in Madrid. Conill exhibited annually in Barcelona, in the Sala Pinacoteca, and also in Bilbao, Valencia, Vitoria and, of course, in Vic, his hometown. Likewise, throughout his career he took part in collective exhibitions, in official contests and artistic competitions, being awarded in several of them. Thus, in 1950 he obtained the third medal at the National Exhibition of Fine Arts and at the Salón de Otoño in Madrid. The following year he was awarded the first medal. Jacinto Conill is currently represented in museums and private collections in Barcelona, Wooster (USA), Havana and Buenos Aires.
