Brother of Rogelio Selvaggio, Mancini studied in Barcelona, at the School of Arts and Crafts, where he was a disciple of Joaquín Asensio. He held his first individual exhibition in 1947 in Barcelona, and later held other personal exhibitions in Vigo, Malaga and again in Barcelona, where he has exhibited regularly since 1977. He is a landscape painter, although he also works with flowers and still lifes. He has participated in various group exhibitions and competitions.
