Pair of sculptures modeled in terracotta representing two sellers. Aesthetically the works follow the costumbrista tradition initiated with the Neapolitan crib, that opened the way to a type of figures not of non-religious scope that contributed a picturesque version to the sculptural group. The Neapolitan school of the eighteenth century enjoyed a spectacular development, leaving behind the splendors of the previous century and progressing within a fully baroque and clearly identifiable style. It is characterized by the interest of movement and vibrant colors.
