The French artist Franck Gabarrou has studied French literature at the Sorbonne. Along with painting, literature and cycling (but also other sports) are his great passions and recurring themes in his work, in addition to portraits. Gabarrou paints with a quick, raw and spontaneous gesture. His colorful painting is full of nostalgia for other times, as he confesses, when landscapes and still lifes were still painted to represent the beauty that surrounds us. After exhibiting in Marseille, his city of residence, he has had his first solo show in Barcelona at the Yoko Gallery.
