DESCRIPTION

METALARTE floor lamp for HANSEN; New York, 1960-1969.
Gilded brass.
Signed on the base.
Measurements: 133 x 24 cm; 22.5 x 25 cm (lampshade).
Lamp with a golden brass stem supported by a round base and a straight line design until it reaches the lampshade, where the design varies in a geometric play. Metalarte was founded in 1932 as a metalwork workshop, specializing a few years later in lighting. It brought together innovative designs for more than sixty years. It is a pioneer in design and decorative lighting in Spain.
