The "Jonas Wood" exhibition, held at Gagosian Gallery in 2019, included a new series of paintings by the artist of architectural interiors and exteriors.

Currently based in Los Angeles, Jonas Wood champions a colorful and magical style, with a retro and avant-garde feel. Trained in Fine Arts at the University of Washington, Seattle, Wood is admired for his depictions of ordinary environments, such as domestic interiors and landscapes, to which he applies a style reminiscent of 1990s illustration or great artists such as David Hockney. His works are currently in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles, among other important institutions.
