Vibeke Alfet's language was centered at the beginning of her career in the landscape and animals, to later focus exclusively on the realization of horses. For her, the horse was the formative medium that promoted the poetry and joy of color that characterized her art. Daughter of painters (her father was the painter Carl-Henning Pedersen and her mother the painter Else Kirsten Tove Alfelt), at the age of 14 she participated with her father in the decoration of the Bregnerød cottage by the Cobra group, thus initiating her into the world of art.
