Painter, draftsman and illustrator, Diego Camuñas was formed in the School of Arts and Crafts of Malaga and later, already settled in Barcelona, in the School of Fine Arts of Sant Jordi. Later he obtained a scholarship from the City Council of Barcelona to further his studies in Paris, where he had a solo exhibition in 1959. This was followed by other study trips to Italy, Belgium and Holland. Camuñas has exhibited his work in prominent galleries, foundations and art centers in several Spanish cities, as well as in the United States.
