The Madrid painter Carlos Morago inherited from his father the love for painting, and began his training by visiting the Prado Museum assiduously. He later attended classes at the School of Arts and Crafts and the life drawing sessions at the Círculo de Bellas Artes. He made his solo debut in 1976, and since then has held several exhibitions both in Spain and abroad. In 2002 he was appointed corresponding member of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of St. Elizabeth of Hungary. Morago develops an art of intimate character, marked by a refined and nuanced chromatism and a rigorous drawing.
