Born in Barcelona, he lives and works in Rotterdam. His painting is a search for how the landscape is seen, moulded, used and can be imagined. Involvement, discoveries, accessibility of the represented environment, fantasies and associations are the main part on which he bases his painting and his ideas. The fascination for different fashions and appearances is able to manifest itself to the senses within an almost dreamlike landscape. Using organic material and a strong, decisive and material painting, he reminds us of one of the most internationally renowned Spanish artists, Miquel Barceló.
