Carmen is a contemporary artist. Her style is figurative and her work is very extensive. Born in Merida (Spain), she studied drawing and painting at the School of Fine Arts in Caceres and the School of Design in Merida. She has shared studies with other artists dedicated to artistic evolution, making several group exhibitions. She has also made numerous solo exhibitions, my work has been acquired in the Setdart Gallery in Barcelona; Parador Nacional de Turismo de Mérida Mérida and in private collections in Spain (Avila, Badajoz, Ciudad Real, World Heritage Cities, Córdoba, Cuenca, Madrid, Mérida, Murcia, Salamanca, San Sebastian, Zaráuz ).... In Europe, the Netherlands (Wolvega) and in the United Kingdom (Kew). A long time ago I started to be interested in the seabed. I was taking pictures of images totally different from those of the Earth. The seabed for me is like a new world, which I discover day by day thanks to painting. To create "The Ammonites Series" I followed a creative process based on color, geometric shapes and the use of various materials such as newspapers and earth. This painting is ideal for modern environments.
