This wine was awarded the Grand Gold Medal of the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles and the IWSC Outstanding Gold Medal. . Valduero Gran Reserva is a red wine with D.O. Ribera del Duero made with 100% Tinto Fino grapes from vineyards over 30 years old. It is aged for 48 months in oak barrels from six origins located in the cellar cave and 40 months in the bottle.
Valduero is a family winery and one of the first to be founded in the D.O. Ribera del Duero, around 1984. It was created by Gregorio García Álvarez in Gumiel de Mercado. Yolanda García Valduero, daughter of the founder and agricultural engineer, redefined the winery.**
