Sangre de Toro by Bodegas Torres is a young, aged red wine with appellation of origin Catalonia made by the prestigious Bodegas Torres winery.
Founded in 1870, Bodegas Torres has a century-long tradition of five generations dedicated to winemaking. Although it was originally founded in Vilafranca del Penedès, it currently markets wines from different Spanish appellations, as well as owning wineries and vineyards in Chile and California. This international projection dates back to the 19th century, when Torres wines gained great prestige outside Spain, in places as far afield as Cartagena de Indias, Santiago de Cuba, Veracruz, Bremen, Hamburg and St. Petersburg.
