DESCRIPTION

Spanish school; 1935.
"Bust of a lady".
Watercolor and ink on paper.
Signed and dated in the lower right area.
Measurements: 33 x 24 cm; 50 x 44 cm (frame).
The painter structures the scene using a synthetic and expressive stroke, related to the Art Deco current. The forms tend to a geometrizing essentialism, and the color is applied in flat areas, contrasting showy chromatisms.
