Painter and draftsman son of Federic Masriera Manovens, begins his artistic training with his father. He continued his studies at the Baixas Academy and at the School of Fine Arts of La Lonja, to finally become a disciple of the painter Raurich. He worked in many different fields, practicing enamel, caricature, drawing and, in painting, landscape and still life. He collaborated in the Barcelona press as a caricaturist, under the pseudonym of "Fricus". In 1911 he was awarded the Prize of the Artistic Circle. He organized individual exhibitions in the Layetanas galleries (1924 and 1926), and was present at the International Exhibition of Barcelona in 1929. Later he traveled to Argentina and Brazil, to finally settle in Paris in 1931. He is represented in the Museum of Buenos Aires and in important public collections in Barcelona, Paris and Rio de Janeiro.
