Painter, musician, poet and ceramist, Fidel Bofill studied Fine Arts at the Municipal School of Vic and, later, with the painter Pous-Font. Later he will improve his artistic knowledge with the painter Joaquim Asensio. He has held numerous solo exhibitions in various European countries, and has taken part in numerous competitions, being distinguished with awards such as the Gold Medals City of Vic, Avignon and Arles, the Silver of Marseille, the Cup of the City of Paris, the Medal of the city of Lavaur and the award "La Pace nel Mondo". He is currently represented at the Hispanic Society of New York, the Spanische Botschaft in Brussels, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in Coral Gables (USA), the Museum of Fine Arts in Valencia, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Barcelona and Pretoria, the Dar Si Said Museum in Marrakech, the Royaux des Beaux-Arts in Belgium and the Zabaleta Museum in Quesada, among many other important museums and collections.
