Pep Guerrero's painting is based on the pleasure of the color, of the figuration, on the pleasure of the painting, of the forms, of the history of the art. The artist ignores any critical or pedagogical intention to compose intensely playful works. He began his pictorial career with his first exhibition in 1991 at Galeria Lluch-Fluxà, Palma. In 1998 he exhibited at ARCO and was attracted by Galeria Yvonamor Palix, Paris, with whom he repeated his exhibition in 2002. Since then he is launched to the national and international market. The Kartner Gallery in Paris, Yvonamor Palix fine arts in Houston, Arte Fiera-Art First Bologna, Art Chicago, The Cynthia Cobett Gallery in New York, The Art Hamptons also in New York are some examples.
