In this work the artist presents a concrete view of a landscape. Completely empty and without any hint of human presence, the author fixes his sight on the exuberance of the landscape, thus giving all the prominence to nature. The warm touches in the upper zone indicate that it is a precise moment in the day, just the dawn. The choice of a precise moment and the technique of long, loose brushstrokes show the great influence of impressionism as the aesthetics of this painting.
