Artist of initially self-taught formation, being still a teenager he begins to work in his own workshop of artistic work of wood and religious imagery, which will grow until definitively consolidate in 1950 with the first and second medals in the II Demonstration of Art in Wood and Sculpture of Valencia. At the same time he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts of San Carlos, graduating in 1949. In the fifties he undertook major projects such as the mural painting of the presbytery of the parish church of the Holy Trinity of Tavernes Blanques (Valencia, 1958-60). Throughout his life, Domingo García made several trips around Spain, Europe and Africa, painting his various landscapes.
