Measurements: 37 x 25 x 10 cm.
French table clock of Empire style and period, with Paris type movement with chime. The clock is made of gilded bronze, with a sculptural concept typical of this time. It is a piece of classical aesthetics, with a base decorated with a garland of plant motifs of great symmetry arranged in bas-relief as a frieze. Above it stands a round figure representing an allegory of love, as you can see a bow with arrows, clearly alluding to cupid. Raised on a pedestal the figure extends one of his hands towards a lyre, representation of Apollo that crowns the structure where the clock case is housed. The dial features Roman numerals in black with Breguet hands.

COMMENTS

Preserves pendulum and key. It has faults and needs to be overhauled. In the description of the watches when it says "in working order" it means that the watch is in working order. Since collector's watches often have delicate and complex mechanisms, the buyer is responsible for any general service, overhaul, battery change, adjustment or repair that may be necessary. We do not guarantee the perfect functioning of any watch. All the photographs of our watches are original and have been taken by our photographers, that is to say, we do not work with stock photography and that is why the photographs are considered part of the cataloging.
