German artist living in Berlin. Trained at Kunstakademie Münster, in 1989 he received the Altona Art Prize, Hamburg, and in 1990 the Barkenhoff Scholarship, Worpswede and the Lingener Art Prize. Numerous scholarships between 1993 and 1999 helped Twelker's education. Specialising in painting, he explores the plastic possibilities of decorativism applied to abstraction, using a luminous palette. Throughout his career as an artist he has shown his work in numerous solo and group exhibitions, including: Where the Truth Is, Rasche Ripken, Berlin (2012); I'm Not There , Thomas Rehbein Gallery, Cologne and Reality of Life Series.
