This box of Italian origin has a high quality design with a rectangular structure made in gilded silver. The lower area has a chiselled finish with floral and vegetal motifs, all of them framed. The upper part is delicately worked in relief, where the author uses the honeycomb design and cabochon cut stones to create the image of a peacock that dominates the centre of the lid.
