Tomás Horrach Bibiloni studied at the School of Arts and Crafts in Palma and continued his studies in Barcelona where he graduated from the Escola Superior de Belles Arts Sant Jordi. Initially he opted for the abstract language, although he would evolve to a very personal hyperrealist style. He maintained a very close relationship with the artists who formed the surrealist movement on the island (the group La Latina).
