The top of the cap and decorative rings of gold-plated sterling silver give this writing instrument a special high-end style. Stylized engravings of lines of longitude and latitude decorate the end of the cobalt blue fountain pen's grip, also made of gold-plated sterling silver.
The 18-karat gold nib at the tip of this masterpiece was carefully polished by the hand of a master and features rhodium-plated decorations over much of its surface.
