Eugenio Mascareñas y Hernández (Almagro, province of Ciudad Real, December 12, 1853-Barcelona, November 30, 1934) was a Spanish chemist and enologist, first professor of Inorganic Chemistry at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Barcelona (UB); he is considered one of the introducers of the Periodic Table of the elements in Spain.
