Braulio Antón Ramírez was noted for having written the first dictionary of agronomic bibliography (Diccionario de bibliografía agronómica y de toda clase de escritos relacionados con la agricultura, 1865), awarded at the time by the National Library. Braulio Antón Ramírez was a head of civil administration of the State in the Ministry of Development, who studied at the University of Valladolid and specialized in agricultural techniques in what is now professionally known as an agricultural engineer, as well as a bibliographer, and was distinguished by the government with the Encomienda de la Orden de Carlos III (Commendation of the Order of Carlos III).
