Bernardo de Breidenbach was dean of the metropolitan diocese and illustrious city of Mainz. He is the author of a famous travel book: "Journey to the Holy Land". In this context we also find him in Mainz as the first printer of the book of the Dean in its Latin (1486), German (1486), Flemish (1488) and Spanish (1498) editions.
