Hans Müller studied at the Academy of Vienna, where he was a student of Edmund Hellmmer. He was especially known for his busts of famous Viennese society figures such as his bust of Beethoven and the poet Robert Burns, as well as Napoleon Bonaparte. He also produced numerous everyday scenes and popular types. His work is preserved in the National Museum of Art in Bucharest, Hungary.
