Painter, plastic artist and illustrator closely linked to the world of flamenco. He made hundreds of exhibitions around the world and developed his personal and professional life in countries such as France, Germany, Holland, Belgium and Switzerland. In 2017 he received the '8 de Abril' Gypsy Culture Award in the category of Painting and Plastic Arts granted by the Institute of Gypsy Culture. In the world of illustration he developed a very productive stage coming to illustrate half a hundred editions in very different formats. In the field of bibliophilia and collecting, the two lithographic editions of Don Quixote (Editorial Blázquez) stand out, as well as the lithographic edition of the Tales of the Alhambra1 with the same publisher. Other artistic editions for bibliophilia are: Eros en el baile flamenco, Manolete in memoriam, Sonetos de Quevedo, Rincones de Granada, Codex Calixtinus and Paco de Lucia y Camarón de la Isla with texts by Félix Grande (Editorial Lunwerg). It should be noted that Zaafra made a collection of more than five hundred original drawings inspired by the universal work of Cervantes: Don Quixote de la Mancha -edited in two lithographic editions and another normal edition-.
