This facsimile of the original by Miguel de Cervantes housed in the Library of the Cigarral del Carmen (Toledo) was intended as a tribute to this great figure of letters, on the occasion of the 4th centenary of the publication of the Second Part of Don Quixote de la Mancha. For the first time, the two parts of Cervantes' work were reprinted in complete copies, printed in Madrid by Juan de la Cuesta, and from a perfectly documented bibliographic history.
