The author of this canvas builds a very delicate still life of flowers, starring a basket with a large bouquet of flowers totally baroque, of great three-dimensionality and realism, so open that seem to be about to wither, an impression that is also reinforced by the brown tones of some of the corollas and leaves located in what could be called second plane of the flowers. Formally, it is also worth mentioning the very delicate, almost invisible, miniaturist and nuanced brushstroke, which wisely recreates the different qualities, tones and play of light and shadow.
